Politicians are forever being interviewed about their policies. 'What do you intend to do,' they're asked, 'about this or that?' They try not to be overly specific in their answers. They don't want to make themselves a hostage to fortune. What they really want to say is, 'Listen, I'm not sure yet what I'd do, but trust me because I'm very wise. When the moment comes, my judgement will be good.' You aren't a politician and you don't yet need a convincing strategy. So stop worrying about who's going to believe you and believe in yourself.
