PREVIOUS THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

April 3 2017 to April 9 2017

Monday April 3

Dream a Little Dream

More Sally Fisher Art here.

The return of retrograde Venus to Pisces today will be similar to the feeling of being awoken from a wonderful dream. Although we might be tempted to return to our previous mind-set, something about it just doesn't quite ring true. So are we doomed to feel uncomfortable whilst blanketed beneath this current cosmic influence? No! We're still safe and snug. We just need to remember that while some things may not feel quite how we'd like them to feel, there's always the potential for another dream.

Tuesday April 4

Stationary Saturn

More Sally Fisher Art here.

Saturn is stationary in the sky. In a few days it will turn retrograde, for the final time before changing signs later this year. Whenever a planet turns retrograde, it calls for a period of review. We're being encouraged to learn lessons and revisit issues that we can finally put to bed, with a new, more informed attitude. Saturn first entered Sagittarius in 2015, and will depart at the end of the year. Whatever restrictions you've faced on your movement, now is the time to learn how to unbuckle the leash.

Wednesday April 5

T Square Ahoy

More Sally Fisher Art here.

In a few days time, the Sun becomes part of the great T-square that we've been talking about since the New Year. It not only signals the dissolution of this astrological aspect pattern, but also brings it to a climax. Next week, under the Full Moon, things will peak noticeably. But until then, Mars' link with Pluto tomorrow reminds us that there's no point in fighting against the tide. Instead, let it guide you. It may take you in the direction that you've desired all along!

Thursday April 6

Tripping the Light

For the first time in a long time, I've booked a trip away. Having a young child, and a busy work schedule, it feels like 'forever' since I last went anywhere new. At least physically. Mentally, it's much easier to make such excursions. And in the coming days, the cosmos will be acting like a psychological travel agent. It's time to be intrepid, and explore options and alternatives that have previously appeared too far-fetched to contemplate. Don't be afraid to try new experiences, or make new discoveries now.

Friday April 7

Mercury Retrograde

More Sally Fisher Art here.

As the Sun's influence on the Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square heats up, Mercury makes mischief. As it turns retrograde, it's as if we're at an airport, ready for the adventure of a lifetime, but unable to find a crucial document. Cue the hurried search through the suitcase, the mad dash home to retrieve the passports, and all the accompanying worry and stress. Except that those feelings are neither compulsory, nor permanent. Especially once we realise that, this weekend, we'll be free to act on our impulses.

Saturday April 8

Your Week Ahead

More Sally Fisher Art here.

The week's astrological activity reminds me of my favourite song by the legendary comedian Spike Milligan. It's called, I'm Walking Backwards For Christmas. Now, although the festive reference may not be relevant, as Mercury turns retrograde this week it joins Venus, Jupiter and Saturn, who are all reversing across our horizons. Does that bode ill for our collective futures? No! The Full Moon conjunct 2017's great T-square this week suggests there's still plenty that can be achieved, no matter which way we're facing.

Sunday April 9

Your Week Ahead - Love Focus

Remember, your Love Forecast today does not just cover romance. A love forecast may also have something to say about your family life, your closest friendships and even some of your most important working relationships.
