TUESDAY May 29 The cycle of time 
Dear Jonathan,You recently wrote about how our ‘inner spirit’ takes over at times of great physical stress. Once I was cycling downhill when my bicycle came off the road and I ‘flew’ about 20 yards into a field which, luckily, had just been ploughed. My ‘flight’ seemed to last several minutes. Time returned to normal when I hit the ground. What do you make of that? JG

WEDNESDAY May 29 Almost Blue Moon... 
Some authorities define a Blue Moon as the second Full Moon of any calendar month. By this reckoning, the coming Full Moon will be Blue in America but not in Britain. Time zone differences push it just outside the qualifying period. To an astrologer, though, a ‘Blue Moon’ is what you get when two successive full moons occur in the same zodiac sign. That’s rare. It’s not happening now, but I hate to detract from an exciting idea. So maybe you should prepare for once in a lifetime opportunity, just in case there is a little Blue Moon magic about.

THURSDAY May 30 Full Moon on the rise 
The Moon, to all intents and purposes, is full. You can read by its light. It is big, fat and round. If, though, you want to get right into the exact astronomy of it all, the Moon will not be full till 2am tomorrow. But, then, as all good witches, warlocks, werewolves and vampires know, it is the period just prior to the Full Moon that contains the most magic. If you have spells to cast, rituals to perform, hair to grow on the back of your hand or pointy teeth to sprout, there’s no time to lose.

SATURDAY June 2 Full Moons in June 
June begins and ends with a Full Moon. It will be an intense, action-packed month. One way or another, we'll all be dealing with dramas in our emotional lives... or in the lives of people so close to us that we cannot separate our feelings from theirs. These changes and challenges will be rendered more difficult by seeming possible to resolve - until new obstacles arise. Or appear to. Actually, June is best thought of as a roller coaster ride that eventually takes all travellers safely back to earth. But not before providing a few unexpectedly breathless moments.
